Thank you to everyone's reviews. I've been craving for some good bun bo hue. My husband and I ordered the bun bo hue, pho dat biet, and fish sauce wings. We were served right away. The staff was so nice and quick with our order. I loved it! The bun bo hue was so flavorful and simple at the same time. It was like comfort food. Even though it was scorching hot outside this noodle soup was worth it! The wings were so good and crispy. I was tempted to order sticky rice and papaya salad. It would have been such a great pairing but I knew I couldn't finish it. I wish I lived closer so I could go here more often.
Authentic Vietnamese food. I ordered the Phở Đặc Biệt and Bún Bò Huế, it was delicious. I love their Bún Bò Huế, it's a must try if you like umami spicy food. The food came out fast. Would definitely come back.
This restaurant is underrated. Authentic Vietnamese food and not overpriced. Chill environment and food came out fast. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet and it's almost as tasty as from home (I'm biased ofc). Enjoyed every bite. Would recommend if someone were craving a bite of some viet food.
One of the my favorite pho restaurant here in the CLT area. Their pho is extremely flavorful, with a lot of meats and noodles. Their Bun Bo Hue is my go to, as the different meat cuts are tender and very aromatic. You can't go to a Vietnamese restaurant and not get spring rolls; their fresh spring roll is sooooo good. That sweet pork that they put in their spring roll, along with the crunch wrapper is the middle just brings everything together. My friends and I usually go to Pho Quynh on Sunday therefore they're always packed, so make sure to go early for good seating. There is always the same 2 guys working when I go in, they both do a great job busting down the tables, especially during rush hours.
One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in CLT. Their noodle soups (pho and BBH) are the best in CLT. Tasty and savory! Always good for when you're feeling something warm and yummy. Service is fast but they do get more busy during Saturday and Sunday lunch rush. Their ambiance is chill. Sometime you will hear music sometime you won't and it will be quiet. I highly recommend checking this place out!
When it comes to Bun Bo Hue, Pho Quynh in Charlotte, this is my ultimate go-to place. This gem, situated off Central Ave, may appear a bit run down from the outside, but don't let that deter you - inside lies a culinary treasure trove. Their Bun Bo Hue is nothing short of extraordinary. Bursting with authentic Vietnamese flavors, the aromatic and rich broth paired with tender meat and the perfect balance of spice is an absolute delight for the taste buds. It's become my preferred dish, and I find myself craving it regularly. It even has the blood cubes! The menu at Pho Quynh is extensive, catering to a variety of tastes. While my favorite is the Bun Bo Hue, my friends do like their other dishes as well. Service is quick and there is never a wait since there's a good amount of seating. In summary, if you're a fan of Bun Bo Hue or simply looking for an authentic Vietnamese culinary experience in Charlotte, Pho Quynh is the place to be. Your taste buds will thank you, especially after a night out with friends.
Whether you're looking for a casual dinner meal or a hangover cure, Pho Quynh as you covered! This is your go-to spot if you're in the mood for authentic Vietnamese flavors that won't break the bank. Not only does Pho Quynh offer generous portions at affordable prices, but their signature pho is an absolute must-try! Picture this: steaming bowls of fragrant broth filled with tender noodles and your choice of succulent meats, topped with an array of fresh herbs and crispy bean sprouts. Each spoonful is a blend of flavors that will transport your taste buds straight to the streets of Vietnam! But Pho Quynh is not just about the pho; their menu is a treasure trove of Vietnamese delights, from crispy spring rolls to vibrant Bun Bo Hue (which apparently is the BEST in Charlotte according to my Vietnamese friends). So, gather your friends and bring your appetite. You won't only leave with a satisfied stomach but also a newfound love for the rich and diverse flavors of this beautiful culture. I highly recommend getting their combination pho! Their generous portions are complemented by their affordable prices. If you're looking to venture out a bit, try their bun bo hue! It's a spicier version of pho with thicker noodles.
We had an excellent time here. Not pictured: fried quail, it was delicious. My father in law ordered the #16, my husband ordered the pho combination beef and I ordered the house special tamarind with shrimp. Everything was absolutely delicious-- wonderful depth of flavor. My only complaint would be that the shrimp wasn't deveined enough for my personal preference. Our service was fantastic and the server even preemptively offered my father in law a fork when he saw that he was struggling. We will definitely return.
